Well I killed another one last week. There i was trimming the hedge when there was a blue flash of light, a Pssssht! and a dead hedgetrimmer.
Yes, I cut through another hedgetrimmer cable. When i mentioned to Trish it might be time to go for a petrol hedgetrimmer I think she went to check my life insurance.
Hmmm ashamed to say I’ve done that……twice!!
First time at Brookway road, standing on the wall trimming the hedge level with my feet – sliced the cable. In my anger jumped off wall onto to step ladder but missed ladder! I was then promptly ‘posted’ down the tiny gap between the wall & very prickly hedge – hands above my head still clutching hedge strimmer with no cable attached.
Took several minutes to extracate myself from the gap, luckily no one there to witness.
Much hurt of pride.
Maybe its a family thing!!! Or just a man thing
